
Severe Summer Weather Awareness Coloring Contest
April 28 - May 2 is the North Dakota Severe Summer Weather Awareness week!
To have some fun as we learn how to be safe, we are pleased to host a coloring contest. Color and return one of the coloring sheets below for a chance to win a prize! Prizes include things to keep on hand during severe weather events.

There are two sheets to choose from, tornado or lightning. One entry per applicant, please.
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to return the submissions: color yourself an extra, take a picture, or send us the scanned version.
Climate Literacy Kit
These kits have everything you need to do a full program about climate in our area! Perfect for the classroom, library, or fun community engagement learning sessions.
Broken down by age category, these kits have detailed lesson plans, picture books, laminated cards, and activities for six engaging lessons.

- Adults: Sustainable Living, the Past, Present, and Our Future
These kits can be checked out from the North Dakota State Library and searching for climate kit, or from the North Dakota Department of Emergency Services.
