North Dakota Medicaid is hosting a webinar on Friday, April 24, from 1 to 2 p.m. Central Time to provide an update to providers, partners and other stakeholders on its response to the pandemic and answer any Medicaid-related questions pertaining to medical services and COVID-19.

The North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department is canceling all in person OHV youth safety classes through May 21 but reminds residences an online safety course is available year-round. The online class can be accessed by visiting www.parkrec.nd.gov. OHV operators ages 12 and older must possess an OHV Safety Certification or a driver’s license to legally operate on public land, including ditches and state OHV trails.

Family members and friends are adjusting to visitor restrictions and other changes put in place to protect the health and well-being of the 9,600 individuals who reside in long-term care facilities in North Dakota. Residents of nursing homes, basic care, assisted living and hospital swing bed facilities are at higher risk of COVID-19 complications.

North Dakota Information Technology, EduTech, Gateway to Science and Microsoft Corp., today announced a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Portal, https://gatewaytoscience.org/nd-covid19/, designed to help fill the growing need for PPE throughout the state.
