 The North Dakota Department of Commerce today announced that the North Dakota Development Fund (NDDF) Board voted to suspend all payments for both principal and interest for all outstanding North Dakota Development Fund (NDDF) loans for 30 days, effective March 19. 

In response to the state's declared emergency for COVID-19, the North Dakota Department of Transportation is launching a statewide educational campaign on state highways. These messages are designed to inform the public and encourage North Dakotans to be more diligent about containing the spread of the virus.

Gov. Doug Burgum today announced that public access to state facilities, including the North Dakota State Capitol, will be restricted effective immediately until Monday, April 6, 2020.

The North Dakota Department of Human Services will hold a webinar tomorrow, March 20, from 1 to 2 p.m. Central Time to provide information and answer Medicaid-related questions pertaining to Medicaid services and COVID-19. The North Dakota Department of Health (NDDOH) today confirmed eight additional cases of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in residents from Burleigh and Morton counties. Six individuals have a history of travel and two individuals are community spread. So far in North Dakota, 508 individuals have been tested, 493 were negative, 15 are positive and 1 of the individuals is hospitalized.   

 The North Dakota Department of Commerce today announced that businesses experiencing or forecasting financial strain relating to the current novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic are highly encouraged to begin preparing a Small Business Administration (SBA) Disaster Loan application.  

In response to public efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus to vulnerable individuals, the North Dakota Department of Human Services is reminding individuals about available online services and is taking other measures to help support recommendations about social distancing.

The North Dakota Department of Health (NDDoH) today confirmed two new cases of COVID-19 which are the first confirmed cases of community spread of the disease in North Dakota.
