The North Dakota Department of Health this week will offer free mass screening events using rapid antigen tests in Bismarck. These events will be held from 10 a.m. – 7p.m. today, Jan. 18, and Thursday, Jan. 21, at 1307 Grumman Lane.

The North Dakota Department of Health (NDDoH) reported today that vaccine priority groups originally announced on Dec. 31 will remain in effect. The reminder was issued in response to the federal government’s recommendation earlier this week that states expand the range of individuals immediately eligible to receive the vaccine, while noting it remains the state’s decision.

The state of North Dakota and the North Dakota Medical Association (NDMA) are working together to encourage individuals who test positive for COVID-19 and are at high risk for serious complications to reach out to their health care providers as soon as possible to discuss new treatment options, including whether monoclonal antibodies may be right for them.
