At approximately 11:30 am, 30-40 protesters were at the Bank of North Dakota in Bismarck doing a demonstration.  The protest was apparently related to the State funding from the Bank of North Dakota that is going to the North Dakota Department of Emergency Services to pay costs related to the protest.  At approximately 12:30 pm, the protesters left the area of the bank.  Law enforcement monitored the protesters and there were no significant problems and no arrests were made.At approximately 12:45 pm, approximately 15-25 protesters staged a demonstration outside the Federal Courthouse in downtown Bismarck.  The protest was related to a court hearing being held in the courthouse for a protester.  After approximately 1 hour, the protesters left the area.   Law enforcement monitored the protesters and there were no significant problems and no arrests were made. Late in the afternoon, Senator Hoeven’s office released a statement reporting that Acting Secretary of the Army Robert Speer has directed the Corps to proceed with an easement for completion of the DAPL pipeline.
