Mandan, ND - Morton County Commission Chairman, Cody Schulz, releases the following statement in response to today's federal court ruling:

"Honorable James E. Boasberg has spoken. Dakota Access Pipeline is legally allowed to continue work on the pipeline being constructed through Morton County. We have respected and protected the right of individuals to protest even when protests have disrupted out community. It is now clear and obvious the fight needs to be moved from Morton County to a courtroom in Washington, D.C. My hope is that the efforts of the pipeline protesters now shift to looking for a judicial or legislative solution. We are now asking all protesters to respect the rule of law and the right of all citizens to live and travel in peace."
