Mandan, N.D. – As Morton County Law Enforcement honored its commitment to relocate further north from the Backwater Bridge to create space between law enforcement and protestors, Cass County Sheriff Paul Laney met briefly with one of the protestors and exchanged very encouraging dialogue.
The conversation showed Law Enforcement that the respected elders are exerting their influence in a positive way.
“I pray that the peaceful and prayerful element of this is starting to overtake the violent faction and shutting them down,” Laney said. “What I just witnessed there is hugely, hugely encouraging.”
